APPLES, APPLES, and more APPLES with ENVI 260

SMOKEHOUSE APPLE
HORSE APPLE
YELLOW TRANSPARENT
BUCK MT. LADY FINGER

For those of you that don't know... the ENVI 206 Class has been setting up apple orchard around the valley. We were very busy. We got over 15 different type of Apple varieties for many different locations and clef grafted them to the root stock. As of today, 04/18/2011, we have over 80% success rate. WHICH IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Glad to hear these efforts are bearing fruit. Ha Ha! Puns aside, great work. I've been keeping my eye out up here for places to setup a small orchard and do some grafting. Keep it up!

  9. I am happy to see that the Buck Mountain Lady Finger survived. My Great Paw Paw would be pleased. Thank you for helping to save it. I fear that this might be the last season of the remaining tree at Matthews. I had some limited success with the grafts myself. Keep up the good work!
